What the internet says about someone

Profiles, structured information, news mentions and exposure data — compared around one possible identity, in a report you can read in a couple of minutes.

Know who you're dealing with

Before you meet, pay or trust someone, check whether the person behind the profile is who they claim to be — and see which records actually back it up.

Tell namesakes apart

Most people-search results quietly mix several people with the same name. Recordwell anchors records to one person first, and labels everything it can't anchor.

How it works

From a search to a full picture

Three steps. Completion time varies by request, and you see the status of every check while it runs.

Step 1

Enter a full name

Use a first and last name. A city, when you know one, separates namesakes faster than any other field.

Step 2

We gather and verify

Recordwell runs the relevant checks, matches records to one person, and drops the noise.

Step 3

Read the structured report

Returned information, online footprint and a plain-language summary with clear match confidence.

Why this is hard to do yourself

One name lives in dozens of places

A fuller picture of someone is rarely on page one of a search engine. Relevant details can be scattered across profiles, web pages, news and exposure data — slow or difficult to compare by hand.

Inside the report

What you'll find in your report

Six sections, each built from records we can point to. Nothing is presented as fact without the evidence behind it.

Identity summary

A short, plain-language summary of who the report is about — location, field of work and the records that place them there.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Recordwell?

Recordwell is a people-search tool. Enter a first and last name, then compare returned records and online signals in one evidence-led report.

What makes Recordwell different?

We separate confirmed records from other people who share the name, and never present a guess as a match. No invented reviews, no dark patterns.

What's in a report?

A structured identity summary, career and interests, online presence, what a web search reveals, data-exposure flags and clear match confidence. We do not profile personality or character: the report presents returned facts and leaves the conclusion to you.

What does a report cost? Is there a trial?

A full report on someone else needs a plan; the price and renewal terms are shown on the checkout page before any charge, and cancelling stops the renewal. There is no trial that quietly converts. Checking yourself and removing your own data stay free.

Can I use this for hiring or tenant screening?

No. Recordwell is not a Consumer Reporting Agency, and reports may not be used for FCRA-covered decisions such as employment, tenancy or credit.

Can I remove my own information?

Yes. Use the opt-out page, or search yourself and follow the removal checklist in your report.

Which countries does Recordwell cover?

Coverage is strongest in the United States. Searches by name work elsewhere too, but the depth of returned information varies by country.

Is this identity-theft protection?

No. We do not monitor credit files, scan the dark web or restore stolen identities. Recordwell organizes information already available to you.
