Terms of Service

Who you are contracting with. The Service is operated by GRUNDLAGEN TECHNOLOGIE LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus under registration number HE 434416, with its registered office at Fragklinou Rousvelt 140, 1st floor, Flat/Office 101, 3011 Limassol, Cyprus ("Recordwell", "we", "us"). 1. What Recordwell is — and is not

Recordwell aggregates information from publicly available sources and the open web, and uses automated tools to organize it into a readable report. Recordwell is an informational tool only.

2. Permitted and prohibited uses

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use information from the Service to:

• Make FCRA-covered decisions (employment, tenant, credit, insurance screening);
• Stalk, harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person;
• Identify or contact a person in violation of a protective or restraining order;
• Discriminate against any person, or violate any anti-discrimination law;
• Engage in identity theft or any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity.

We may suspend or terminate access for any suspected misuse, without notice.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Billing status. Billing is active: a full report requires a paid plan, and card details are entered on our payment provider’s hosted checkout, never on Recordwell. Prices and cancellation terms are shown before billing can start.

Paid plans renew automatically each month at the price displayed before you pay, until you cancel. The price, the billing period and the fact of automatic renewal are shown on the payment screen before any charge is authorised.

First-month price. Where a plan shows a first-month price, that price applies to the first month of the subscription only and is charged when you complete checkout. From the second month the plan renews at its regular monthly price, which is shown next to the first-month price before you pay.

Trials. Nothing converts into a paid subscription by itself: a subscription starts only when you choose a plan and complete checkout yourself. Where a plan is offered with a paid trial, the trial price, its length and the monthly price that follows are shown before you pay; the trial is charged at checkout, and unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription continues at that monthly price until you cancel. A first-month price is a paid month of the same subscription, not a trial.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account in one click. Cancellation is immediate, stops all future charges, and your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not require you to call, email, or speak to anyone to cancel.

Refunds. Any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days of that payment, for any reason. Write to support@recordwell.ai and we return the money to the card or account you paid with. You do not need to give a reason and there is nothing to qualify for. Access to the paid plan ends when the refund is issued.

If you were charged in error — twice, after cancelling, or for a plan you never started — write to us whenever you notice it and we will refund it, however long ago the charge was.

On your statement. The statement descriptor is shown before purchase: charges appear as RECORDWELL.AI, or with our payment provider’s prefix followed by RECORDWELL. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before disputing it — we can usually resolve it the same day.

Prices and features may change with at least 30 days' notice by email; a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

5. Accuracy and no warranty

Available records may be incomplete, out of date, or attributed to the wrong person (for example, different people who share a name). Recordwell does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any report. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recordwell and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, and content (excluding third-party records) are owned by Recordwell and protected by law. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

8. Third-party content

Reports may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, where GRUNDLAGEN TECHNOLOGIE LTD is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer provisions of the law of the country or state in which you are resident.
